What are your opening hours?

We are open everyday from 11am – 11pm.

Where are you located?

We are located in Patong OTOP shopping market. The entrance to OTOP is the  We are in the same soi as the ‘Ashlee hub Patong Hotel.’

Do you take walk-ins?

Yes, we take walk-ins. If we have an artist available you can have an appointment straight away.

If we do not have an artist available when you arrive, we will arrange an appointment for you.

How can i book an appointment?

You can walk-in to our studio when you are in Patong. Our friendly staff will be able to book you in.

When should i get my tattoo done?

We recommend you come into the studio to plan your tattoo at the beginning of your holiday in Phuket.

We recommend that you actually get your tattoo at the end of your holiday (last couple of days), so you do not miss out on swimming, beach time or other activities that you would have to avoid with a fresh tattoo.

How old do i need to be to get a tattoo?

You must be at least 18 years of age to get tattooed at Kangaroo Ink Patong.

How much does a tattoo cost?

The price of the tattoo is charged by piece, not by hours. The price will depend on a number of factors such as size, complexity, colours used, placement, etc.

 

 

Can i get a price quote?

Yes we can give you a price quote. Please email us for information or come into the studio for a free consultation with an artist. We will be happy to provide you with a quote for your tattoo.

Do you accept cards as a form of payment?

Yes, we accept cash or cards as payment.

Do i need to pay a deposit?

Yes, we will require a deposit to hold your appointment.

Can you design my tattoo for me?

We can design a tattoo for you. Please come into the studio and have a free consultation with our artist. Together we can can plan your tattoo design.

Where do your needles and inks come from?

We get our needles and inks from America, Australia and Europe.

What are your hygiene procedures?

We follow a strict hygiene regime in our studio. We keep the studio chairs, floors, equipment, machines etc sterile and clean at all times.

We only use single use needles, which we will open in front of the client, at the beginning of the tattoo session.

Our artists always wear disposable gloves and masks. We always use single use individual ink cups.

Kangaroo Ink’s artist and staff are all trained in Infection Control for Tattoo Artists. We complete training every year so our hygiene practices and knowledge are constantly being updated.

Does a tattoo hurt? What should i expect?

Tattooing will be painful. However, everyones pain threshold is completely different.

How should i prepare for my tattoo?

Some tips for you to prepare for your tattoo

  1. Get a good nights sleep before your tattoo day.
  2. Eat before your tattoo session.
  3. Hydrate yourself with water before the appointment.
  4. Take a shower.
  5. Wear loose comfortable clothing.
  6. Charge your phone, ipad, kindle as you may need them for entertainment during your tattoo.
How long will my tattoo take to heal?

It should take around 2 – 4 weeks for your tattoo to fully heal. Healing time depends on size of tattoo, complexity, your skins healing ability and how well you care for your tattoo.

Do you provide after-care products?

We have after-care products and creams that we sell in the studio.

When your tattoo is completed, we have after-care instructions that you can take home with you to follow.

When should i not get tattooed?

Please do not get tattooed if;

  1. You are drunk
  2. You are under the influence of drugs
  3. You are pregnant
  4. You are pre or post surgery
  5. You are sunburnt
  6. You have any cuts, wounds or scratches on the skin that will be tattooed.
